DIRECTOR & PRODUCER
Srishti Chhabria (she / her)
I am a director and producer originally from India, now based in London. I have an M.A. in Film and Television, and have experience as a UX Designer. These disciplines have helped shape my approach to storytelling, giving me a keen focus on how someone experiences a story.
I am a founding member of Gunpowder House Productions, where I am the lead on cinematic video production for the Major Five publishers in the UK. I have directed and produced campaigns for authors including Lisa Jewell, James Patterson and Andrea Mara, with my work shown on national and international television.
A project I am particularly proud of is a short film I directed, One More Minute which qualified for the BAFTAs. It features a Deaf actress in the lead role, and ahead of production I completed a Level 1 Certification in British Sign Language to honour that collaboration with the rigour it deserved.
